Grant Opportunities

Overview

As a cooperative, we have a Concern for Community. Each year we donate back to the communities we serve in the form of donations, sponsorships, scholarships, community events, and youth and educational projects. And as a cooperative, we share our financial success with our members.  We are excited to again offer the following grant opportunities.

Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) Grant

  • This program supports projects in these categories: Business and Economic
    Development, Community Development, Education and Telecommunications
    Applications.

  • Completed applications are due to NCC by August 19, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

Rural Development Finance Corporation (RDFC) Grant

  • The RDFC is pleased to announce it has approved a 2026 grant allotment of $2,000 per member-cooperative to be used to support community owned entities, non-profits and community based projects.
  • Matching funds required by the applicant: $4 dollars of other funds to every $1 of RDFC funds (for example: $8,000 in matching funds needed for a $2,000 grant request).
  • The minimum grant amount is $1,000; the maximum is $2,000.
  • Complete the application and return to NCC no later than September 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
